Passenger Pigeon Press

Passenger Pigeon Press is an independent press founded by artist Tammy Nguyen that pursues nuance through the creation of artist books.  The platform houses three projects: Martha’s Quarterly, Collaborations, and Public Domain. The publications address human culture, the environment, and geopolitics among many other themes. For NYABF 2024, Passenger Pigeon Press and Friends present the special project: Atomic Terrain: How to Make a Bomb, a geopolitical gardening project that uses a rare species of rose, the Rosa floribunda ‘Atom Bomb’ rose, to examine the structural connections between horticulture, state power, and nuclear colonialism.
